1. About this policy
Nobol Inc. ("Nobol," "we," "us," or "our") explains in this Privacy Policy how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information when you visit nobol.com, purchase our products, contact us, register a warranty, subscribe to communications, or otherwise interact with us. It also describes our handling of information we receive in connection with orders placed through third-party marketplaces.
Nobol Inc. is located at 22425 E La Palma Ave, Yorba Linda, CA 92887, United States. You can contact us about privacy at cs@nobol.com.
2. Personal information we collect and its sources
Depending on how you interact with us, we collect the following information:
- Contact information: name, email address, telephone number, and billing and shipping addresses, provided when you place an order, submit a form, or contact us.
- Order and transaction information: products purchased, order identifiers, payment status, delivery information, returns, and related correspondence. Payment information is processed through the payment providers used for your transaction; the information available to Nobol depends on the payment service and sales channel.
- Support and warranty information: product and purchase details, warranty registration information, and the content of messages or materials you choose to send us.
- Subscription information: email addresses and communication preferences submitted when signing up for a newsletter. We may also retain information previously submitted through forms that are no longer available, subject to the retention and rights provisions below.
- Review information: ratings, reviews, display names, and any other content you choose to submit for publication.
- Device and activity information: IP address, browser and device information, cookie or similar identifiers, approximate location derived from IP address, referral sources, pages and products viewed, cart and checkout activity, and interactions with advertisements or emails. Our website and connected analytics, advertising, and other tools collect this information automatically, subject to applicable settings and privacy choices.
- Referral information: referral identifiers and related visit or transaction information used to attribute referrals to our website.
We receive information directly from you, automatically through our website and connected services, and from marketplaces, payment services, delivery providers, and other providers involved in your interaction or transaction.
We do not currently ask customers to provide health or injury information through our forms. Please avoid including unnecessary sensitive information in messages to us.
3. How we use personal information
We use personal information to:
- Process payments and orders, arrange delivery, and handle returns or refunds.
- Respond to inquiries, administer warranties, and provide customer support.
- Manage subscriptions and communication preferences.
- Send order and service communications and, where permitted by law and your choices, newsletters, promotional emails, and reminders about products viewed, abandoned carts, or incomplete checkouts.
- Manage product reviews and attribute website referrals.
- Operate, troubleshoot, secure, and improve our website and business services.
- Understand website usage, measure advertising performance, and support advertising and personalization as described below.
- Maintain transaction records, address disputes, prevent fraud, and meet applicable legal obligations.
4. Cookies, analytics, and advertising
We use cookies, pixels, server-based integrations, and similar technologies to operate the website, understand activity, attribute affiliate referrals, measure campaigns, and support advertising and personalization. Connected services include Google Analytics, Google & YouTube, Facebook & Instagram, and Judge.me. We also use referral-attribution tools.
These services may receive device identifiers, activity information, and, depending on the integration and your interaction, contact or transaction information. Their processing is subject to the relevant service, configuration, and applicable privacy choices.
Where displayed, our cookie banner allows you to accept, decline, or manage optional cookies. Cookie-consent and data-sharing controls may vary by location. You can also use browser settings to manage cookies, although blocking essential cookies may affect site functionality. Blocking browser cookies alone may not control all server-based disclosures.
To access our data-sharing opt-out method, visit our data-sharing opt-out page. You can also contact cs@nobol.com for assistance with privacy choices.
Shopify's integrated privacy tools support Global Privacy Control (GPC), a browser-based signal that communicates an opt-out preference. Shopify applies recognized opt-outs to its processing, including advertising uses through Shopify Network Intelligence. GPC is not a request to stop every kind of processing: essential services and permitted transaction processing may continue. You may need to exercise choices separately on other browsers or devices. Contact us if you believe a choice has not been applied.
Legacy browser “Do Not Track” signals differ from GPC. We cannot confirm that all connected services respond to legacy Do Not Track signals; use the data-sharing opt-out page or contact us to communicate your choices.
5. Shopify and its enhanced services
Our store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify processes personal information when you visit or purchase from our store, including to operate the store and provide enhanced services based on interactions with Nobol, other merchants, and Shopify. Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled for our store and uses information across those interactions to support services such as improvement, personalization, and advertising.
Information is shared with Shopify and other providers, which may process it in countries outside your country of residence. Learn more in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy. Shopify also provides a privacy portal to exercise choices concerning its processing. Our own data-sharing opt-out method is linked in Section 4.
6. When we disclose personal information
We disclose relevant information to providers that support our business, including ecommerce hosting, payment processing, delivery, communications, forms, reviews, referral attribution, marketplace integration, analytics, and advertising services. These include Shopify, Judge.me, Google, Meta, and marketplace integration services where used for the relevant sales channel. Our website orders are fulfilled by our internal warehouse employees, with delivery information provided to the relevant carrier.
Email and automation providers process information for communications handled through their services. A provider previously used by Nobol may retain historical information according to its arrangements and applicable requirements; a disconnected service is not necessarily receiving new information.
We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to address fraud, security incidents, legal claims, or the protection of rights. Reviews and other content submitted for public display may be visible to other people, together with the display information associated with the submission.
We do not sell or rent customer mailing lists. However, disclosures through advertising technologies and certain Shopify services may be considered a "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" under applicable privacy laws, even when no customer list is sold for money. The controls described in Section 4 address these activities.
7. Marketplace purchases
When you purchase Nobol products through a third-party marketplace, that marketplace handles information under its own privacy policy. Nobol receives the information the marketplace provides for the transaction, which may include contact details, shipping information, order details, and related communications. The information available to us varies by marketplace and fulfillment method; for example, some Amazon orders are fulfilled by Amazon.
We use marketplace information to fulfill and support orders, manage returns and warranties, maintain necessary records, and meet applicable legal and marketplace requirements. Integration services may transfer order information between the marketplace and our order-management systems.
Visiting nobol.com or separately subscribing to Nobol communications involves the website practices and choices described elsewhere in this policy. Marketplace permissions and restrictions still apply to information originally received from that marketplace.
8. Retention
We currently do not apply one fixed deletion period to all personal information. Retention depends on the information and the purposes for which it is held, including transactions, customer service, our one-year product warranty and related claims, accounting, legal obligations, and disputes. The end of a warranty does not necessarily end the need to retain a transaction record. Information held within connected services is also subject to the arrangements and retention settings for those services.
You may request deletion by contacting cs@nobol.com. We assess requests under applicable law and may retain information where an exception applies, such as records needed to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes. Withdrawing marketing consent does not automatically require deletion of every transaction record.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to or a copy of personal information, correction, deletion, portability, or information about its use and disclosure. You may also have rights to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Contact cs@nobol.com to submit a request. We may need information to verify your identity and, where applicable, an authorized agent's authority. Please do not email sensitive identification documents unless we have arranged an appropriate method. We respond within the time required by applicable law and explain any applicable refusal or limitation. Where an appeal right applies, you may appeal a decision by replying to our response or emailing cs@nobol.com with "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line. You may also contact the relevant regulator where applicable. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
Use the unsubscribe option in marketing emails, or contact us to request removal from marketing communications. Necessary order, warranty, or service communications may continue. Use the controls in Section 4 for advertising and cookie choices and Shopify's privacy portal for Shopify-specific requests.
10. International customers
Nobol operates in the United States and primarily serves U.S. customers. We also accept certain international orders, including orders from Canada, by arrangement. If you interact with us from another country, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have different privacy laws, and information may be accessible to their courts, law-enforcement agencies, or other authorities under applicable law.
You may contact cs@nobol.com with questions about international processing or to exercise applicable access, correction, consent-withdrawal, or other privacy rights. Withdrawing consent may affect our ability to provide a requested service. We will provide additional notices or choices where required for a particular interaction or market.
11. Children
Our website and services are intended for adults and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected a child's personal information, we will take steps to delete it. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact cs@nobol.com.
12. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. These include individual employee logins, role-based access permissions, two-factor authentication, management authorization for access to customer records and exports, and internal handling and shredding of paper records. Our warehouse is operated by Nobol employees. Technology and delivery providers involved in our services are described in Section 6.
No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. Contact cs@nobol.com with concerns about the security of information you have provided to us.
13. Changes and contact
We may update this policy to reflect changes to our practices or requirements. We will post the updated policy with its revised date and provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by law.
